HACKING AND PREVENTION IN FACEBOOK
Most of the younger generation are very well influenced by this familiar application called Facebook. It is the most widely used social networking site used by more than 1.5 billion users. We will see what are the ways in which Facebook can be hacked and we will also look into the prevention methods in brief here.
Hack#1 :PHISHING
This is the most common type of assault used to hack Facebook. There are multiple ways to carry out phishing and the most common way used a fake e-mail.
A fake login page will be created and sent to the victim via mail asking the casualty to login. Once the casualty logins into that fake page every credential information are sent to the hacker.
Hack#2: KEYLOGGING
The another most important way of hacking Face book is key logging. It is a small program, once installed in the victim’s mobile it will record everything that the victim types in his/her mobile or computer. By this method a hacker can directly access the user id along with the password which will be mailed by this logger.
Hack#3: STEALERS
It is a kind of software used to steal passwords. Almost 75% of people use stored password in their browser to access Facebook. It becomes convenient for saving password but it is extremely dangerous as stealers can easily access your saved password stored in the browser.
HACK#4: SIDE JACKING
It is a famous method for hacking Facebook and other account by stealing others' access to websites through a public network. It is mostly done when the attacker and the victim are connected in the same wireless public network. In that case it is easy for the attacker to hijack all the essential information of the victim through the public network.
HACK#5: DNS SPOOFING
DNS is the Domain Name System which is a type of computer system hack in which the attacker will introduce a corrupted DNS data into DNS resolver’s cache causing the name server to return an incorrect IP Address. In this type, the attacker will replace the original page with his fake page to get access to your account.
